Decide with the operating facts in view

Next cohort: September 14–October 26, 2026
Format: Seven weeks · Mondays, 6:30–8:30 p.m. Eastern · 6–8 hours each week
Delivery: Live online studio, recorded review segments, individual practice, and asynchronous feedback
Support: Weekly office hour, written rubric feedback, one structured resubmission window, and accessibility coordination
Application: No payment is collected with the application. Accepted learners receive tuition, taxes, cancellation, deferral, refund, technology, and attendance terms before enrollment.

Instruction and feedback stay accountable

Academy faculty facilitate the studio, domain reviewers challenge the work within their authority, and every feedback record identifies the reviewer, rubric, version, and required next action.

Built for experienced professionals who already own work

This course fits people who can already operate in a professional delivery environment and want to strengthen domain context, evidence, decision-making, communication, and handoff. It is not an introduction to general computing, project work, or office tools. It does not provide clinical authority, legal advice, vendor affiliation, production access, employment, placement, or an income guarantee.

Every module ends in an artifact another person can inspect

  • Risk-led test strategy

  • Requirement and workflow traceability map

  • Interface and data-validation pack

  • Defect and exception disposition record

  • Release-readiness and handoff report

The course uses controlled scenarios and course-hosted data so learners can practice the full reasoning path without uploading employer, client, patient, production, or restricted material.

Context before output

  1. Inspect the operating context, decision owners, constraints, and excluded authority.

  2. Produce the week's artifact using the supplied structure and source pack.

  3. Review against the visible rubric and a worked example.

  4. Receive feedback, revise, and record what changed.

  5. Transfer the artifact with assumptions, limits, and a next owner.

Completion requires usable evidence

Assessment covers framing, traceability, technical and domain judgment, risk, communication, revision, and handoff. Critical safety, privacy, evidence, or authority errors cannot be averaged away by a strong aggregate score. Defend a complete release-evidence pack before a cross-functional review panel.

The record names exactly what was completed

Learners who meet the published participation and assessment requirements receive a downloadable and emailed IT Modality certificate of completion. The record includes the course, version, dates, assessed requirements, issue identifier, and verification route. It is an IT Modality course record—not an external license, vendor credential, professional certification, or work promise.

Questions before applying

Does completion affect The Rigors or access to work? No. Academy records remain separate from the free assessment and client-selection systems.

What happens if the schedule or practice load no longer fits? Use the Academy support path before enrollment or as soon as the conflict appears; the applicable cancellation, deferral, and cohort-transfer terms control.

Can I use employer, client, patient, or production material? No. Use the supplied controlled scenarios and course-hosted data unless written authority and the course owner explicitly provide a different approved path.
